Ok. Make an AI map with 5 marines vs 30 infection forms. See how well it works out. Edited by Karrde on Aug 3, 2009 at 08:03 PM

Yeah I don't think Bungie really thought about religions in Halo because it's only a game.
Also I don't think it matters because I don't think anyone who plays ever really though of that because they were too busy crushing Grunts and pumping Brutes full of lead lol.
And yes Bungie will eventually rule the world.

Uh, just kill those little bug things and everything infected? The problem with your plan, is that the Master Chief can't be on every single planet at the same time. Marines fail at killing flood, and at the rate the flood take over, you won't have time to abduct many six year olds.

Problem is, it doesn't have to be your face. If they touch your body at all, they can take over. And since they swarm you, you won't have a chance.

1) Marines can't carry flamethrowers 2) Marines usually wear cheap body armor that can be mass produced. Civilians don't wear body armor at all.

Are flamethrowers in Halo universe to heavy to be held by an average human?
By the way, are there any Covenant citizens? Are they all soldiers or are they like us?Why do humans fight the Covenant anyway?Who stroke first?

Covenant fought first as a political struggle. Once Mendicant Bias, a Forerunner AI, revealed that the humans were actually reclaimers, the Covenant declared war on them as part of a political matter. There are Covenant citizens. Look at the military. There are only male elites, yet they reproduce. How can they reproduce without females? And you try carrying a huge weapon that spews flames that even Spartans have trouble carrying.

Also, what makes you think the soldiers you fight are MALE?There might be only one sex. There are animals which have only one sex in Earth even. Also, do Covenant have animals or plant life on their homeplanets?

Prophets declared war on humans because, if the Covenant knew, it would be a religious and political fight. Religious because the Covenant dont like to destroy Forerunner stuff. Political because they are killing the Forerunner stuff.

All the soldiers you fight are male. The females hold political positions back on their homeworld. The Prophets are their own race, and are the Covenant's leaders. They declared war on Humanity, and the rest of the Covenant were forced to follow suit.

Not likely, due to natural selection. If everyone was just one sex, then there won't be any genetic variation, lessening the chances of the species becoming sentient. Do you see any uber-intelligent sea anemones? And during the events of Halo 2, the Arbiter discovered the truth. That, coupled with the replacing of Elites with Brutes, cause the Elites to secede away from the Covenant. That didn't immediately make them join humanity. Not until Johnson talked with the Arbiter, and told him that they were facing a common enemy, did they ally with humanity. Edited by Gamma927 on Aug 3, 2009 at 08:58 PM

The Elites found out of the Prophets lies. Truth commanded 2 covenant fleets to have their elites replaced with brutes in all military positions. Some elites were killed. Blah blah to lazy to explain it all.

Mutation? That's still a genetic effect that occurs on Earth. Effect of other races? What? And the Covenant live in the same galaxy as Humans.

Well if you think about it, the Christian religion is reflected in the events of halo such as the story of Noah and the ark. So that might mean something.

I'll try to play Halo 2 a few days later when I get home to my better Internet Conn.I'll never play Halo 3 unless it comes out for PC or something, someday. So umm, didn't the elites try to tell the others about the lies of the Prophets? Also, how did they find out about those lies in the first place?

If the Forerunners had a "combat skin" of level 12+ like the Monitor said. How is it that THEY died and the Chief lived with only a class 2 "combat skin"?

Because they couldn't mass produce them. If the UNSC had monetary problems producing MJOLNIR armors, which is a class 2, how could the Forerunners mass produce class 12 armors? The highest were reserved for those who needed it, not those who wanted it. Since the class 12 was mentioned in the library, it can be assumed that class 12 combat skins were reserved for those that worked on the ring.
