So the Earth in Halo series is OUR earth but only in the future, right?Humans in Halo believed in the same stuff as us(Christianism, Islam etc...) until they first confronted Covenant.The question is, do humans still believe in the same stuff?Or are they all aetheists now?

How about Covenant?They believed an ancient, more developed civilization was their god.But after seeing HUMANS are the Forerunners' reclaimers, why do they still think an old race is their god?And don't they realize before the Forerunners came the Precursors?Why don't they see the Precursors as their God then?

And what of other races?Precursors, Forerunners etc.Do they had religions too?

Forerunners believed in the Precursors as their gods, much like the Covenant believed in the Forerunners.

If a race cannot control something they create and suicide like a noob, it'd be dumb to see them as Gods.Covenant guys fail.

The Forerunners did NOT create the Flood. The flood arrived from another galaxy, implying that they've already conquered many other galaxies. The Halos were the last hope. Either

a) They all die, and get infected by the Flood, and the Milky Way becomes completely infected

b) They all die, but they leave no bodies behind for the Flood to infect.

Can't forerunners outmatch a supersoldier with a Shotgun that has infinite ammo?

No, because that same supersoldier is probably invincible, due to the vast number of cheats he's using.

Trolling =/= failure of communication. And Master Chief never beat the Flood. He merely escaped from them. He also didn't have a shotgun with infinite ammo. That itself implies cheats.

The problem was, this took place on a ring, with no civilian population whatsoever. The only people the Flood could infect, were soldiers. Now, imagine what would happen if the Flood took over Earth. Thousands of people would be infected, and even Master Chief can't fight them off. During Halo, he merely faced about a thousand or two thousand flood. Now, imagine the entire population of Earth, all 6 Billion people, infected, and against you. That's just one planet. Multiply that by about a hundred or two hundred, which'll cover most of the Outer areas under control by the Forerunners. Imagine 1,200,000,000,000 flood forms attacking. And for every single Forerunner that died, a Flood form took his place.

Hydrogen Bomb, solving all your Flood problems?

Realize how pathetic a hydrogen bomb is when you use it against 120 trillion flood forms.

Also, the flood weren't only on land. They commandeered civilian space vehicles as well. The Forerunners did build another AI to deal with the flood threat, but that AI got corrupted by the Gravemind, and was used against them. Imagine playing the level "The Library", where Cortana was against you, and there were about three thousand times more flood. Beat that without cheats.

I'm pretty sure the Forerunners has at least 1 million hydrogen bombs or something equal to a hydrogen bomb.

They destroyed their own planets with people on using orbital based weapons and destroyed Suns to not allow the Flood a foothold in a system.

It just wasn't enough though, because in the end it's a pretty hard decision to vaporise all of your own peope as well as the infection.

No, they didn't have millions of hydrogen bombs. Also, I found this quote on the Bungie website.



Besides, a hydrogen bomb won't do much in space. Ever seen what NASA planned if an asteroid was to hit the Earth? Their last ditch attempt is to launch a nuke at it. However, because of the large mass, and the velocity it's traveling at, it won't work very effectively.
