You have used a sphere in the bsp, i assume.
Tool hates spheres, use geospheres and smooth them instead.

You need to lower the number of sides it has, i think.
Or change the type of geosphere it is.
Mess with the settings of the geosphere to fix the error.

Do you happen to have a inside facing area that does not connect to the outside?
That would also cause that problem. The only way I know how to fix it was to connect the inside to the outside. Like on the bubble shield I made, I had to connect the collision on the inside and outside of it.

I didnt understand what chris meant, now i think i do.
If you are to have a geosphere inside another geosphere without connecting them, then you can link them separately to the frame or link to main object then link to frame.

No, you can't have a inside facing shape that doesn't connect to the outside.

It won't work.

The only way I know how to make it work is to connect the geometry.

I am telling you that it does work.
Make a box map, slap another box inside it and link them both to frame, if you have problems with that then link the small box to the main box (map) then link the box(map) to frame.

I just tried it, it works

dunno why it shouldnt be able to, if you can't then try making a hole in the outer layer so it's not isolated

:) see

its not a good way to model things though (although handy in cases like this), you should always try to make real sealed models.

Doesn't make sense why it works, but whatever.
