Anyway, I wanted to give my former beta testers something, but as I can't give out any more betas, the next best thing is to give them the final copy of the map a few days before I release it.

Why am I bringing this up?



Whoever does something clever with this picture (make it an awesome loading screen, background wallpaper, or photoshop in nukes), will get a "pre-order" of the map.

The option's only for former beta testers, and the person who does something fun with that picture. If you're wondering why I want that picture modified, you'll find out once it's done.

Yeah Gamma just giving feedback since you probally haven't really edited the spartan III's yet but here are some suggestions.

1) Make them move around more the one in the video stood way too still. Maybe make them throw grenades and melee.
2) Armor is okay I guess. . . . but make the faceplate shinier and also It's got lines that go along it ( use this for reference http://xbox360media.ign.com/xbox360/image/article/738/738683/the-halo-ghosts-of-onyx-interview--20061012115351042.jpg other than that just add more detail.

I'm not in ASP and I get a beta. Why are you guys so protective of "your" stuff anyways? Half the stuff is Bungies.

You actually contributed very well, which is why you get one. I don't want the map handed off to some unknown who may give the map to anyone.

All the settings for camo are in the globals under 'Rasterizer Data'.

There is no shader for camouflage. It's just a bitmap used for distortion along with some settings.

The bitmap for the camo distortion is specified under 'active camouflage distortion'. Check to see if the bitmap is screwed up or for some reason not specified.

That's the only reason I can think of for an exception with camo. I doubt the 'active camouflage' settings can somehow be set to cause an exception. Check for unreasonable or weird values anyways just in case.

If that's all normal, then give yourself camo with 'cheat_active_camouflage'. If it works fine, then it probably has nothing to do with this and something to do with the Spartan IIIs.

Also, try giving other AI camo and see if it exceptions. If not, then it must be the Spartan IIIs.

I made a story for gamma does that count for anything :D. O yea masterz trusts me as well... i think :P. Any ways if i do win it can be protected or what ever i really dont care i just wanna play it early, besides i dont even know how to upload stuff nor do i have an interest in doing so. Either way i really wanna contribute to this so heres my first entry
