I might have something planned. I'm not really putting much into this map, because from the start, it was just to test concepts. I'm getting a better BSP to work with, and I'll be putting a lot more effort into that. Since the scripts are written already, I can just copy and paste.

Hunters are in, they're part of the second boss wave (Wave 20).

They may be in a few other waves. I'm trying to keep it diverse though.

I was thinking about what u said about the copy paste thing, and the amount of awesome survival maps u can make are endless it'll awesome, if u ever need help testing any of em just let me know.

Is the Magnum overpowered in this?

Reason why it should be overpowered: In Halo its a 3 shot kill amirite? Well in Rio's firefight the elites took forever to kill. They evaded more than 2 12 year olds that have been doing crack all day and just got on halo. Whilst I am used to People moving diagonal and not changing position.

Either you should make it a huge learning curve from MP to SP or I get an overpowered magnum

I like it either way.

Yes. I kinda screwed up, and it takes 6 rockets to kill a hunter. Still have to fix that.

There should be a battlerifle marine, shotgun for cqc, AR for fullauto and suppression, battlerifle for supression/ medium range contacts, and snipa for long range this way all works out. Don't really need an smg one since shotgun pretty much takes up its place in CQC

also after this map i'd love to see big ones with waves of banshees and wraiths en stuff

Of course, but I don't remember these things when there are more pressing issues, like having to re-write the random weapons script for the third time.

I'll see if I can find a map that's large enough. The problem with large maps, is that there's a balance between being large enough for vehicles, but not that large so the player can't escape all the combat by running somewhere else.

if you can make friendlies follow you, doing the same for enemy encounters is not entirely impossible either.
just as long as they know where you are (even if "magically") , then hiding is no longer an option for players.

I may be able to make the AI follow you, but that still disrupts the gameplay. Since the player is human, there's a vast number of routes he/she may take.

Any ways what weapons do the spartan III's use? battlerifle or smg, should be the smg im thinkin

Also will the assault rifle marines go full autoish kinda, or at least not those gay useless burst shots every 5 second?

Yours was equally weird, and annoying. As for the Assault Rifle marines, yes, they will provide fully automatic fire. I've tweaked them a bit to put them into the "Support" AI category, meaning that they will hang back, and provide support for other AI.
