It's probably not going to be that big. Probably going to be a raffle for ten bucks, or something small like that.

I wish it were a netcode update the rest can be solved with other ways around, but they wont rewrite the whole game...so no, no new physics engine :/

I fixed that for you. Since the source code is not available and I quote Roger "Microsoft has the source code archived under their mountain someplace but I doubt anyone has it as their desktop" And then he goes on to say "save your PC key" and then "We'll come up with a use for it." None of those statements points to a re-work of the game engine and all this speculation is far out wishful thinking.

I have no idea what their plan is but I am pretty sure that it will not involve a game update and most certainly not be a Halo CE game update which was released as is and is unsupported.

or they're fixing the 'manual update required' bug/thing, or some sort of beta/recon/cake raffle, just a guess, probably nothing big. I doubt Bungie cares about H1/CE after it stopped making them money.

I buy haloPC discs so I have a key for each computer I use, they are still making money.

Well, I mean $$BIG$$ money H1 isn't bring Bungie home the bacon that was like 7/8 years ago.

So now that they say save your keys people are going to go out and buy copys of halo pc so it really hasn't stopped making them money

Its obviously a Halo 4 beta for all ye faithful players of halo PC for the past 9 years. Oh , and Halo 4 is PC only.

Hmm, I'm pretty sure that there are still people who buy their copy of halo, yea the game has like 7 years old, but some people anyways buy it , so Bungie and Microsoft still are making money with Halo PC/CE.

Waltmart and other stores like Gamestop (all videogames stores by the way) have it on sale.

They still sell it at your local bestbuys too for like 20 bucks.
I remember walking in a couple days ago and they had an entire rack of copies of it just sitting there.

They obviously wont be making any major updates , since it's an old game.
Unless of course , out of the kindness of their hearts.

Its so obvious , that thread must be linked to this one.
Our halo CD keys are going to activate a secret index within the Bungie Company Building.
They just got mixed up , a technican inputted them instead of the regular codes.
Yeah , halo is going to become true.
Only those faithful with a copy of Halo 1 PC will be SPARED.

I think they said it would be this year. Whatever they plan on doing with Halo CE. They might make it so that you can redeem your Hao CE/PC CD key for a discount when you go to buy Halo ODST maybe? Just a guess.

True. Most likely that it will be a discount offer if you keep your Halo CD key.

I just thought a moment, and thought it would be nice if Bungie Fixed the Melee system...

The only four things I could imagine Bungie doing with the HPC key:
• A beta to H3PC
• Graphical Update
• AI/Moving Scenery syncing
• Melee with lock-on (fixed)
