i want to put 2 bitmaps in my model in gmax, and by that i mean i want the top side of the map(above cliffs) to have a bitmap as well, instead of no colors, but i dont know how to do the shader enviroments for tat, halp!

a pic would be nice,
but do you have your +sky done? that will be the top part of the map, or if your talking about say having ground you can walk around on just open up your material editor , add the bitmaps you want to have put them on your map were you want them, then in export it da da da. that stuff. run tool bitmaps, da da da, then follow this
tut ( my copy paste in not working) http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=2198 and its like on page 21 ,22 and just make a shader for each bitmap you used.
