My graphics is getting worse, like i cant see the explosion smoke when a grenade explodes. And DirectX says there is no issues. What should I do.

Restart your computer and enter the BIOS setup menu, go to the Advanced section, go to Advanced Chilset features, there should be a number with your current graphics, and should allow you to change it, this is how I fixed mine.
Note: Im using a Dell, so the directions might be different.

Quote: --- Original message by: Headhunter09 Don't install Steam. lolololol. That slows EVERYTHING down. But it's worth it. : )...most of the time. You said your graphics are getting worse? As in they used to be better but then, withought changing anything, they got worse over time? try closing everything while running halo. also try physicly cleaning your computer from dust. That's the only reason i can think of for why it would "be getting worse". It could also be that you just somehow turned off some settings or are running it in safe mode or changed some settings for your graphics card. try running some sort of video stress test. I think his video settings were just set to default, and thus particles / some other settings were downgraded.
So press escape, go to change settings, video setup, and set everything to the highest settings your graphics card can handle without lowering your fps too much.
(for explosions, increase particle level)
