Yes there is. You need something called the Halo Editing Kit (HEK) which can be found on the site, as well as Halo Custom Edition. Then all you need to do is use Sapien and mod the map (add more weapons, scenery, AI etc)

Oh like HMT, HHT and those crappy meta editors?
There is one app that does the same for HCE though HEK is far better.

What's the point of modding Halo 1 if you have Custom edition?

Because via the HPC way, you don't need to decompile the maps, compile them. Lethargy can edit the existing tags flags and swap stuff.

I'm seriously tired of all that crappyass modding on HPC. Seriously, all of those mods suck, they screw up gameplay, and do you know how difficult it is to actually find a server with no mods? It's part of the reason why i uninstalled HPC, and only have CE now.

If you mean uninstalling the original version, then yes. You don't need to have it installed to play CE, all you need is a valid CD key.

Back to his question. Yes, you can. To create such stuff, go to Guerilla and modify the weapon tags.
