Needs more line variance. Make about 2 or 3 other lines. And add other colors.

Add some blue around it to fly with it,its in the pic,circeling the contrail.

Looks good, a little bit of custom is always needed. Don't make it exactly like the reference.

ya, i know the bitmap edges stick out. i think i need to use a 512x512 bitmap.

He is talking about the bitmap size.

The bitmap size has to be in multiples of 2.
2/4/6/8/10/12...... and so on

it looks really good so far, especially far, but close up, i think it will need seperate particles for that, so that it wont look all that blurred so close up, and a tiny bit of rippling in the beam, but it looks good so far.

I think the contrail needs to be about 25-50% the size it is now

Oh and in case nobody knows the little two-contrail trick, create a projectile that travels 1000 wups, and detonates the instant it's fired into two more projectiles, one that has a contrail and impact damage, and another with a contrail but no impact damage. Great for emulating some of the H3 contrails

Jesse, stop please. That does not look anything like H3's. Take a screenshot in Halo3 of one and see the difference.
