Um, did you put it through guerilla first?

Tool you mean?
Also lord I think that you mean you see it in guerilla, but not in sapien.. that would be because the bitmap isn't linked in the shader model tag.

very confusing speaker we got here

First of all, you have to put tif's through tool, not bmp's.

Maybe that was confusing? Erm..... I did put the tiffs back through too and made them bmp files again.....

bmp is not the same as a .bitmap file.

It's because tool sees it as the same name out of the one in bitmaps.map, so it pulls the texture out of that instead of using yours. Simple way to bypass it is to give it a new name and open up the shader and change it to the new bitmap.

Simply put, you have to take your .tif file, put it into the data folder, and use tool to convert it to a .bitmap. You can't just save it as a .bitmap, or a .bmp, because neither will work. You must convert it using tool.

He did it right, the tool is just using the one in bitmaps.map.

That's normally what does it. Try it yourself, I ran into this problem when I changed my pistol scope. Renamed it and re-directed the HUD to the new one and it worked.

I assume your talking about the particles, and yes you have to take a look at the explosion effect.
