First I'd like to thank everyone who is cool enough to help me out with this, because I've spent a lot of time planning this out (going over my designs, vehicles, AI, and all that awesome stuff), but there's been a lot of **** keeping me from doing this.
GROUND RULES IN THIS TOPIC: Basically, don't post anything if you don't know what to do, or how to help (believe me, that is really annoying.).
So anyways, whenever I try to compile the map, tool.exe gives me an exception. I already tried downloading some tag packs, but if I need completely pure tags, please give me some links. Also, I already tried downloading an a30 tag pack (not every tag came from a tag pack, just levels/a30, and that's it.). Tool.exe basically gave me another exception. So if you guys would like to help, or show me exactly how you made your single player maps, just show me and I'll try to repay your time and help.

UPDATE: Sapien also does not work on my computer (it freezes or closes automatcally every single time I open a scenario tag.). Edited by Architect of Halo on May 15, 2009 at 12:39 PM

for all HEK errors the only way fro anybody to help you is to post your debug text. Just paste the latest paragraph in the debug.txt file in your root directory.

^What he said. He left out two crucial details though.
1) You must paste the last paragraph HERE.
2) Your Sapien is not corrupted. You are only missing tags. Just downloading the a30 tag pack will leave out many tags. The tag packs don't contain all the tags. You need to extract all the tags from the level, before you can open the scenario.

Not to be rude my friend, but I don't think you'd need that uhh...To help me, basically, I did in fact extract a30 recursively, everything right down to the last detail. It gave me an exception. It's almost as if tool.exe wasn't designed for single player map building, but I know that's not true, because Halomaps is littered with things of that nature. I'll give you more information when I can.
2) I performed all of that, and Sapien closed. If you read above, I said that I extracted all the tags, yet Sapien closed.
I read another topic like this a few days ago, so I know this can be worked around, only I couldn't download the full tag pack Vic jr. uploaded due to a filefront problem, so is there any other website that contains this file?

You still need 1, because it tells you what kind of corruption it is. It could be an Exception Access Violation, or maybe 3157. Not to be rude, my friend, but if you don't provide the information we need, we can't help you.

QUESTION: Do I need to extract all the single player maps recursively in order to build a30?

HEK+ extracts certain tags corrupted, so extracting everything recursively is probably not a good idea. If you are going to extract tags, don't extract from the Halo PC version. Extract from Renamon's maps from halomaps.

Okay, I'll try that, after I get my tags back together, HEK+ screwed it up again.
Also, I'm just wondering, how do I remove the boundaries on Halo (the level a30)? I'm talking about the boundaries that form the invisible roof, and the boundaries that shut down the player's controls (whether he's in a banshee, or got to the hills. (Basically anywhere bungie didn't want him/her to be.)
I also got Sapien to stop closing, it gives me an exception now, but I will give you guys an update once I try everything vic jr. suggesting in another topic.
Not to be rude, but this doesn't mean I'm not going to need your help. I'm still going to need it until I get the map built.
