Don't go to college for "Game Industry"
If you wish to waste your life on video games, go to "School" for a specific profession. Riggers are usually paid good money because their jobs suck.
If you REALLY want to do something with your life. Drop me a message.

Hooah wow what a demeaning and stereotypical opinion. i wont say ignorant because im sure alot of people hit big road blocks in this profession, but still. what the hell. remember kids, video games are just for fun and your wasting your life if you make a career out of them. your life will never go anywhere if you do.

So, if I get hired at Bungie as an animator or modeller, help develop their next kickass game. then my life has gone nowhere?

He isn't in school as far i know, considering he said he works 40 hours a week, out of 168, half of which I'd say it taken up by sleep, so 40/84 leaving 24 hours. school is (normally) 6 hours a day, 5 days a week, so that's 30 hours. my conclusion is, he isn't in school ;o this is also backed up by him being in the air force.

If money is no problem for you, then Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida is good. Their Game Art and Game design programs are one of the top in the country.

If you cant travel for school online is a good option. Do alot of digging to find a good online accredited school.
If your really interested is game design i would get on the net. For free right now you could start learning there are tons of sites out there. Might be good to start making 3d models or flash animations. Might be worth doing while your waiting for classes to start. I would get looking for a school ASAP.
