Well, you can add the bloom mod on, and then mess around with until it fits your tastes. It takes a bit of time, and can make some maps weird looking. However, I find that it adds a nice to effect to other maps.

if u want to know look at your approx. total memory
click start>run>dxdiag>select display find it if your video card mem is lower than 128mb just save money and buy a video card (yah i know u said making halo ce graphics better without using money but not all solutions are free) |
