Well guys I need youjr help; I want change the bg bsp, I know you have to convert the bsp file in a .obj file and import it to Gmax, here all good, but when I want to import the file .obj does not appear in the gmax list. I know is a nub question but I'm new at this; so there's any plugin for that or something?

You need a script off of halo maps. Search bsp importer. I have no idea if this works with Gmax though.

*sigh* Why do people not understand things. Okay have you ever explored your gmax programs folder? if not then well your insane =\. look in their and then there will be a folder called scripts. place the .obj importer script in scripts/startup. there you go. please from now on... when you have trouble with gmax/making maps post in the other part of the forum!!!

You have to run scripts manually. In GMax there should be a "Run Script" option under MaxScript. Run the importobj.ms and it should give you the option to import things as OBJs into GMax.

Importing BSP's into Gmax is not worth the effort of fixing all off it up. It's way faster to do it in Max. If you can get someone else to import it into MAX then have them save it as a .3ds.
