PLease put music that you think would go well with a Halo CE sniper montage.

it doesnt always have to be some screaming metal song. i have some intense classical stuff that i play gears to. you have to know what to look for.

Energetic songs, maybe some ska music since some ska bands are energetic.

Try some pop music, like Family Force 5 or songs with synthesizers.

I agree.

I like upsetting the norm with some fun, a lil rickroll every now and again is nothing to complain about (cept with that laptop thing, should've linked for touchpad'ers :P).

Metal is good for games, and the original soundtrack is good aswell, but it was made to suit the game.

I hate to admit I like this song, but... Live and Learn, from Sonic Adventure 2.

Face down---The Red Jumpsuit Apparatus. (Or whatever the the hell they are called)

EDIT: There are two versions of the song. A crappy version and a good version with more of a hard rock fell to it.

i like this guy. although nobody yet has succeeded in remaking ff6's boss theme to my liking. even this guy. they all have annoying twists to them.

I'm a big fan of LP but they are overused in Montages. Don't use them, get a different song.

I'm using the Descive battle from him from ff6(ssh version), personally I think it's pretty good.

If you are equipped with Sony Vegas and 1337 powers you can make synch a montage very well to "The gael or last of the mohicans". Theres this one remix of it thats really great, I have it but I don't know who does it..

Also, The real slim shady.

Techno always gets me pumped for some reason, and it sounds good in a montage, just not something too slow... you gotta make it sound like your in a trance

Or use techno and sync it real well. If you do it correctly, it should end up like:

if i wanted to do a halo montage, i would have How I Could Just Kill A Man by Rage Against The Machine as my background music. if you listen to its lyrics, its like one of the best songs to put in a montage.

Rage=Epic Win ;)

I went to an LP concert back in 08. TBH, Chester is loosing his voice.

Also, Hybrid Theory was their best album, Meteora Next, then all the rest is crap. They were underground, then they went corporate.
