so you hate everybody the rick astley fan base (or whats left of it) because some shmoe decided that being linked to one of his music videos is..... bad? i dont even get it. i kinda like the song anyway.
by the way, the song is called "never gonna give you up", not rickroll.

walkie Talkie Man,

but then you would have to make the montage pretty fast paced.

Running Amok with Knives-Grey Daturas (it's short, so loop it endlessly :D)
Night of the Barricade: Paris 1968-Grey Daturas
It Took the Night to Believe-Sunn O)))
Orthodox Caveman-Sunn O)))

I think drone metal would be pretty cool for a montage....

I'm a big fan of LP but they are overused in Montages. Don't use them, get a different song.

+1 everything.

if i wanted to do a halo montage, i would have How I Could Just Kill A Man by Rage Against The Machine as my background music. if you listen to its lyrics, its like one of the best songs to put in a montage.

+1 Life.

i find that, to me, female singers are a huge turn off in music. especially montage music.

That. No joke.

What do you mean female vocalists are a turn off...? If you can find a really good one, you're pretty much set...

Why is that? People use Evanescence A LOT in Montages.

I don't know why, but I love the song: (This is SLOT - 2 Warz (Yay for Angry Russians :D))

That. No joke.

I remember listening to Sunn O))) a while ago, it's pretty cool stuff.

If you're into that sort of thing, have you ever heard of Lustmord? It's not quite as drone-y and tends to lead towards the dark ambient side of things, but you might like it. Also, check out some of Isis' earlier stuff, if you're into sludgy sort of music.

Also, in response to the actual thread... If you're looking for some good metal or something, check out Meshuggah:

Yea, Lustmord is pretty good too. Same with Isis.
