How do i add an energy swrd wielding ai to my maps??? I tried but there is some problem with tool that does not compile the map. I know its possible, because i downloaded a map and it had an Elite wielding an energy swrd. If anyone Knows how, please help.

the tags are missing stuff. Here's a suggestion: rip a campaign map that has a zealot in it and use those tags instead.

oh well, i had this problem too, but i managed to fix it. Here's some directions to fix your problem....
1. download the latest HEK+,
2. update your comp using windows update. (btw, that includes the NET framework.....)
3. using the HEK+ u just downloaded, extract all the tags (excluding the "levels" folder) from all the campaign maps. (so that not only allows you to use the zealot elite wielding energy sword, but also the other AIs too). But, BEFORE YOU DO THAT......
3a. go into HEK+ main menu, click "Tag Extractor Settings" > "Plugins" > "Tag Extractor", and make sure yr tags folder is correctly directed (eg. if yr tags folder is "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\Tags", then make sure this "Tag Extractor" field also says so)
4. after you r done extracting all the tags (i know its FRIGGIN hard work, but i did that also to make sure errors are kept to a minimum), go into Sapien, open yr .scenario file you want to add the AI to, then go to Sapien's hierachy view and click "Edit Types". In "Object Class, go to "actor_variant", then click "Add".
5. This should bring you to yr open file window. Find yr zealot actor_variant tag (should be in "characters\elite\elite commander\elite commander energy sword.actor_variant), and click "Add". Then after the tag is added, click "Done". In the dialog box, click "OK", and now you can start populating the map with the zealot.
6.Once you're done, save and compile the map, and voila: there's your elite-with-energy-sword!
