i am about 25% through creating a new campaign however im having several problems. Firstly Im thinking about making a scarab be controlled by ai but i dont know no where to start. could sombody please give me a quick guide on how to do this.

Create a scarab, create an AI encounter, setup the scarab to be drivable in Guerilla, and in your script, add the (vehicle_load_magic) command to load the AI into the scarab.

it does not work. I tested vehicle_load_magic scarab driver elite_1 in sapien and it just replies with a 0. Edited by CallumT on Apr 17, 2009 at 09:55 AM

Probably because the elite doesn't have animations to get into the scarab. Either change the seat label of the scarab in Guerilla to something that the elite can use, or create animations for the scarab.

err, i think that is a corrupt animation. Try re-extracting scarab tags from a map with a scarab

ohh ok thats not actualy for the scarab. its for the monitor. i tryed re-extracting with hek + and the tag extractor public beta but it doesnt work.
