how do i change the pelicans jet colours...not the ship its self the acutal jet... if that makes sence.to a redish colour

create it. create one in Photoshop or whatever you use, save it as a .TIF file, and run it through tool

Just looked, the shaders jet thrusters.shader_transparent_chicago and hover thrusters.shader_transparent_chicago both use the bitmap vehicles\pelican\bitmaps\pelican decals so use the batch bitmap extractor and extract that bitmap, then in an image editing app just change the hue of the particular piece you want to change, its the red circle i presume.
Then save as something else and run it through tool to make a new .bitmap and refer to that in the shaders.

rip that bitmaps and change it to a more red colour. Even paint can do it. (but a really bad job)
