Every game I join has this strange 3-second lag that starts when the action on screen builds up or a bit of network lag appears. It also is an issue in single player games. Here's my specs:
Manufacturer: eMachines Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) Processor LE-1620, ~2.4GHz Memory: 1790MB RAM Hard Drive: 71 GB Video Card: NVIDIA GeForce 8200 Sound Card: Speakers (Realtek High Definition Audio) Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Premium (6.0, Build 6001) Service Pack 1 (6001.longhorn_rtm.080118-1840) I had no issues with it on my previous pc. Is it like when you shoot a plasma pistol and when it hits and the particles effects start? If so that sorta happens with me too. I just got a new laptop and have a 8200 NVIDIA and windows vista home premium. my hard drive is 225 gb so idk whats the problem either! I also have a AMD Athlon idk what kind of AMD athlon tho D:

The Nividia 8 series and up will not be able to use Decals. Turn Decals off, and this will be fixed.

Well I just turned mine on and it works fine |: i turned the framerate to 30.

D:< I like my framerate at 30 because it is easier to control your person with a mouse and is not so.... hmm fast and way too smooth. when I turn vsync on it gives me 73... and that is to fast and smooth to fight. What framerate should i record with in xfire or fraps... what i mean is what setting in xfire/fraps and what settings in halo ce?

For fraps, I like to lock it down at 25 fps, so that it doesn't jerk throughout the recording. I tried 60 once, and it was not a good experience.
