Hai guys

Is it possible for a first person shadow of the player; or can it not be added into the Halo 1 Engine?

Thanks

I don't think it can be added. Shadows only appear in 3rd person models and since there technically is no 3rd person model when you are in first person view (someone correct me on this), there is no shadow. Or at least I think that is why it is like that. There is a shadow from chiefy's when ever you use dev-cam.

No, because other players can see your body.

No, you didn't understand what he said. In first person, there is no 3rd person model, and you can't exactly add one the same you'd have in Halo 2/3. It's the same as FP legs, not really possible, and not really gameplay breaking enough to be bothered about. First person and third person are different, and are not interchangeable.

if you want shadows for your char like crysis, you should play in 3rd person
