I don't see you coming up with it in 10 seconds, go try, it's not THAT easy to make it fitting, you make it sound like it's as easy to place a biped in sapien, making a correct looking flame does require a little thinking, not that much, but enough to keep people like you from posting it.

Well, isnt it just like, attaching an effect to the head marker in the biped.... and the effect makes fire particles.......if so then yeah its easy...

Well anyways, I'm working on flames from halo 2, and eventually will release custom flame head tags, since it's not "just add a flame" there is alot of stuff that needs to be solved, like, how to get rid of the flames in first person on your own head? I don't see anyone else come up with this, since the rest probably couldn't solve it, untill proven otherwise I'd like to ask people not to say it's easy to do, as you don't come up with your own results.
Oh and, to prove I didn't mess with it, they're xfire screenshots, on purpose, so it's not photoshopped or so.

Well hey, what happens if you pick up active camo? Will a repeat of the infamous "Bungie employee w/ flaming head and active camo" occur, or do the flames vanish/cloak along with you?

That's your opinion, I wanted to make a halo 3 idea, not some random illogical effects for marines. It may be fun, but that is way to cheap, it should be something like scorching footprints or so, ofcourse it's done in 2 minutes, it's way to cheap to just add a trail and do nothing with it, should have been finished.

It will cloak with you, I got it that way so that it just dissappears when you cloak, since it's just a bitmap it wouldn't be able to make a camo flame

Simple.

Just make a lame excuse that it (the fire) is being shot out of the breather-vents in the helmet, and from between the cracks in the MJOLNIR armor.

Or maybe it is holo-fire being projected from the layer of crystal that is contained within the MJOLNIR armor V and VI.

Your vid contained only the feets on fire, you just contradicted your own logic.
And I don't see why mine 'fails' because you have another effect. Make your own topic if you want to show that off.

If you want my logic in any case, go ask bungie, it's their idea. It was my goal to imitate the halo 3 flaming helmet effect, no matter the logic behind it, and I succeeded, end of discussion.

Anyways... Back ontopic,
Update: Made new more realistic looking flames, will try to scale them as it's too big.

I was attempting to state what was obvious, but to be legal for the morality of it, I just had to literally say that it's made by bungie.
