I know in max that you have to assign a certain material with a certain name. I really need to know how to do it and if it needs animations. Like glass breaking in sciaphobia does that have animations for it? So please help me out with this. also Can i make it so that it takes more damage to break off certain pieces so like give the scenery a health amount and when it runs out/is killed it breaks in half/crumbles??? please help me with this.

The glass breaking was not scenery. The command was - and it has to go on the end of the glass material. So you would want the material to say glass#-

That was a breakable surface. The glass that falls down from it was an effect. But I suppose you could make something with damage permutations like bipeds have, then when you shoot different parts, they break and fall down, like the flood arms falling off it you shoot them. I think it might actually have to be a biped tag though, unless scenery can have damage permutations as well.

No. you would say glass- because thats not what the transparent property (#) does. its the shader which makes things transparent or not

I'm not sure, but I would think not because destroyable vehicles don't sync. But, then again, there is glass in sciophobia.

Minor things such as glass do not matter.

Well I was thinking of modeling a destroyed map and fill it with destroyable scenery.

Well I'm not going to do it if it doesn't sync. Maybe for my Single player though. Hmmmm, plant a C4 on the wall to continue?
