omg. Read a tutorial and search instead of making a topic when you don't need one!

If you see this, you must be in an old topic

make sure you check slayer default oddball default king default slayer allowed oddball allowed king allowed this tells the vehicle to spawn in every gametype.

Okay tut title it's here on halomaps it's a video....
"Getting custom vehicles to spawn in a map"
Step one: Check for tag errore NONE... Step two: Open gobals.globals go to vehicles delets all, and press add 6 times add your custom vehicle. Step three: Open sapien do the edit types add custom vehicle click ok... No errors on screen step four: Go to object vehicles, right click in sapien place go to properties check all required boxes.... safe rebuild tool gives no errors???? Map loads no vehicle?
I even did step 2 differently and just linked a already placed vehicle EX: warthog and linked it to my vehicle still didn't work?????
By the way it's that vehicle thats a drivable sentinel.... And yes I do have the required sentinel charecter tags in charecters folder>> So im stumped big time? I have tis same problem with every vehicle even the regular wraith tank.

did you add the custom vehicles to the multiplayer information section like your meant to? also, if you cant get that to work, use easy halo scripter and use the script to get them in. Quote: ---Original message by Krystian: Meh. Try this method:
Ok. Assuming you haven't tweaked with your globals tag, the globals vehicles should be:
Scorpion Ghost Rocket Warthog Warthog Shade Banshee
Open up Sapien, and create a ghost, set it to spawn on all gametypes. Place it in some place the player cannot reach. Name it check_vehicle Then add all your other vehicles, and give them all different names, and place them next to check_vehicle. Make SURE they're in a place the player CANNOT reach, or this will result in several techincal difficulties.
Go to Mission>Game Data> Trigger Volumes in the Sapien Hierachy view
Go to the properties view, and name your trigger volume
Then go to game view, and right click to place the trigger. A small box should appear. You will now notice that it is simply too small to contain all your vehicles. Drag the sides of the box, that should make the box bigger. Make sure ALL your vehicles are placed inside the trigger.
Then, to go to Mission>Game Data>Flags
Place as many Flags as you want vehicles. Place them where you want your vehicles to appear in-game.
Then use Easy Halo Scripter, fill in the name of your trigger, flags, and vehicles.
Save the script as a .hsc file, in levels\mapname\scripts
If there is no scripts folder in the map's folder, you have to create one
Go back to Sapien, click 'File' in the top left hand corner, and 'Compile Scripts'.
Tell me if you get any errors.
Hope that helped! Edited by Koo294 on Feb 15, 2009 at 05:17 AMEdited by Koo294 on Feb 15, 2009 at 05:17 AM

That occurs when you try to compile scripts. Your script has syntax errors. Edited by Gamma927 on Feb 15, 2009 at 03:07 PM
