So I already know how big of a task I've taken on here and I'm still willing to do it alone, I just need anyone to point out anything that should be changed or fixed. Just to get in the right direction.
(I'm running 3ds max 9)So, the map itself is pretty large itself. The whole purpose of this map is for
Role Playing (RP) I plan on though making it so
EVERY GAME TYPE works on it. I've been told my mountains look good, but the cliffs need some work. Understand that the textures in the pictures are not the final textures they are just to show some color, also the Light
Blue Plane is going to be water.
This is a very recent Render that I did of the map.
If nobody can read that
the Poly for Map is 8,165
Now here is a render of the top view of the map you can see the amount of open space, I have a feeling I'm missing something from that
middle region.
Alright then, I will be implementing the Hanger from a10 into the map also, I did modify it so the poly count wasn't so high, also because a lot of it was going to be useless.
Poly for Hanger is currently 16,242As everyone can see there is an extension, I want to add as much "realism" to the RP events as possible by minimizing the use of portals as much as possible.
There is going to be kind of a
"city" put into the map at the South Western base of the mountain (as seen in the picture above.) It will be connected to the Hanger through the underground tunnels. I made kind of a
"Highlight" of where the tunnels will go, where the city will be and whatever else can be put into the area, under the terrain that is.
This is a ship from
http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?fid=1589 this model pack. I made modifications, so it has more of a feel to the
HALO world.
The poly for Ship is 604Now if there is anything anyone wants, like pictures or anything like that, I'm happy to give it. I would appreciate if anyone would take the pictures I posted and edit them to give me guidance. I plan on seeing this map finished even if I'm doing it alone.
(And just so nobody gets mad...I will give out proper credit when the map is completed.)
