Did you close bracket?
And can you run other SinglePlayer maps?

Because you're typing the wrong name. Typing "Covenant's Canyon Public Beta 1" won't get anything, because that's not the name of the map. The name of the map is the name of the .map file you downloaded. I could call my map "Stinky Cheese", and it won't run, because the .map file isn't titled "Stinky Cheese". And don't add spaces. You can't compile maps with spaces in the name.

my problem is that I can't play custom made single player levels. I can play the campaign with a custom UI but that's not the way to play custom SP levels... When I type in "C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\haloce.exe" -screenshot -console'' and when I opened halo and pressed ''~'', there's happening nothing... can anyone help me? it bothers me for over a month now...

Look one post above you. If you don't want to, here's how: 1) Download the map 2) Find the name of the .map file 3) Ingame, in console, type in map_name [name of map from step 2]
Not the name that's on the website. The name of the .map file.

that's not my point, the point is: I'm unable to open the console! I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I have read the instructions here http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?nid=386 and here http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?nid=319Did as they say, when Halo CE is opened up and I press ''~'', nothing happens, tried every button on keyboard, none of them worked... Now you know the problem, I hope you are able to help now. Thanks Edited by Ghosty on Jan 24, 2009 at 05:09 PM

Show us print screens of you adding console. Did you add console, or did you replace the target? Basically, does it look like: -console
Or "C:/Program Files/Microsoft Games/Halo Custom Edition/haloce.exe" -console

Both don't work... Followed the steps exactly as they told... But, now I see at your post: "D:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\haloce.exe" -console without the last '' like I did and like they say on http://hce.halomaps.org/index.cfm?nid=319...
