oh jesus christ i almost cried when i saw the second response to this. it took me a little while to figure out, but in the .model animation tag for the CYBORG. look at the settings for rifled weapons. see how it is set to attach the left hand on the cyborg to the left hand marker on the gun? type in those marker names in the elite animation tag as well. thats how you fix it. it requires no reanimation

ok, if anyone is saying it doesnt work, you arnt doing it correctly. let me get some screenshots. i wont post the model aims for the elite because the only anim tag that i have set up to do this was updated with ICEE's elite rifle anims that didnt end up working. so basically, that anim tag = instant crash. however, i can take a picture of the working section of that tag.

that tutorial is using ALL DEFAULT elite stuff. make a copy of your elite anims incase you screw up, then just edit the default ones for this. if you rename the tag, make sure to redirect the elite.biped tag to your new anims

nope, thats why you added the rifle weapon class. you keep the weapon lables of one handed weapons under the "pistol" class and put 2 handed weapons under the rifle class edit: OH, but because you clicked "duplicate" on the pistol class, make sure you remove the pistol weapons from the weapon lables under the rifle class pp, pr, ne and if you want, you can go under pistol and add "hp" to it Edited by Donut on Jan 25, 2009 at 01:12 PM
