I really lost interest in this project due to this sites bad crit, I am sorry, but all Marathon Halo Mod stuff is now ditched, I am sticking with the Marathon Halo Mod for Marathon 2: Durandal.

God, this forum can be horrible for moral, learn to encourage people, maybe you can be a better person in REAL life that way.

As I have stated many times before, this is a laptop, it crashes if I render in 3ds max. IDK why, it just does. and on top of that, its a lot easier and faster for me to run sketchup, and I do not have a desktop worthy enough to run 3ds max efficiently. I use what I can.

and again, i'm right, the lack of motivation really is a bad thing here

can't we all just appreciate he was doing this? i mean, c'mon, if its so easy, do it all yourself, we don't have to care how he does it, if he wants to do so, let him do so, maybe he's a sketchup expert and can he work very fast in it, if he wants to make concepts in it, let him do so, there is nothing wrong with that, and i'm very dissapointed that because of the community that whines about using wrong concept methods that the whole project will be cancelled
and i dont care about any other, this was going the good way :/

I am using Photoshop and Paint, for what I am using, I a doing good, I have decided to work on the other project for the time being, the Halo Mod for Marathon.

Anyways, I now have all the bitmaps, and am proceeding to update them, also, I am working on the new weapons, and a new biped for multiplayer, also, Halo enemies. (Might need some help there.) Its not that IDK how, its just not very easy, a LOT of bitmaps. Maybe I will get images from ingame? that'd work great! (really, it would).

Hmm, I wanna make sure this Mod turns out good, does anyone want to help me make the characters?

Its simple images, front, back, side, etc. (total of about 30 maximum bitmaps per character.)

For once I have to agree, you are over working yourself, that's what a team is for, concept art section, and then there is scripting, then there is modelers, textures, UV's, etc.

Its easier to gather a team then to do everything yourself.

Well, the team is busy with school, and beginning the movie, so in my spare time, I am finishing this mod, I have found some crude bitmaps to add, might as well see what it looks like with new characters.

okay, Oh, and I got the bitmaps, missing the fronts and backs of some characters =(, more work, but I am adding vehicles! (soon enough =P)

I have dat software.

The one thing I hate is trying to get the correct bitmaps, it seems that making a biped is easier than making 30 of the similar legs of a single character. And they all have to match. WTF!

But its easy to modify the weapons though, you now see grenades instead of the rifle grenades, I am going to work on making you be able to throw grenades, and also duel wield pistols, plasma pistols, and plasma rifles.

I am happy this project is working out so good so far =D.
