Cool stuff. I'm looking forward to release! For the record, you should co-credit dg945 for the rocket warthog. Also, since you're using my f_shield scenery, feel free to use my f_barrier scenery too, if you wish (bottom-right in the pic: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v248/Arteen/ci_005.jpg). The carbine's reticle just needs to be shrunk down a bit, and the Battle Rifle one just needs to be brighter and not look really low res or whatever.

Thanks to Advancebo, I have been able to acquire a new carbine reticle and mask.

I just fixed up the unicode string list. I am very excited about this.

Thanks Arteen, but the forerunner shield should be enough. I got them situated like I want them around those structures.

I may not be able to change the floors of the Library. Bitmaps are weird and I'm not a big person when it comes to these types of things.

If anyone knows for sure on how to change the color of Hunters or have changed the bitmap colors of the hunters, then please tell me ASAP. I'd like to have the hunters distinguishable for the player, so that when they see a hunter ultra with a beam they won't think it's a normal hunter.

I would reccomend getting a blue cubemap for that battle rifle's scope..

I've been looking for one.

I won't change the weapons unless it's for adjustment purposes or it's the carbine. I've finally gotten all of the weapon tags and lists complete.

The cubemap is in the cubemaps.bitmap in characters\elite\bitmaps

Just delete the other cubemaps from the bitmap tag so that you have the blue one, and save it in the battle rifle folder.

I tried to get y'all some videos of d20 up, but xfire made it lag and my ultras never spawned. -_-

Maybe I should just stick with pictures till the week of release.

The Anti-Air Wraiths worked good as they did in Halo3 before, but the lack of the user Flying may be a reason to keep it out if variety isn't a reason enough.

Here is ThePlague's Rageroth HUD. Doy'all want to use this HUD or the Default one?

I used Sky Is The Limit App for the BR's FOV.

Something about the HUD just doesn't fit right with me. Probably the way the player has to look at the top and bottom of the screen to assess their "health" I'd stick with Polars H2 HUD or someones H3 HUD. If anyone wants I can open source the third CMT HUD, which was partially in MPV1. Somone will have ot redo the interface tags though.

You know Masters, that sounds like a pretty good idea. I'm trying not to lean too much on CMT stuff though, considering three of CMT's items would be used if that were the case. The point of the mod is to show stuff from the community in it and I suppose, considering CMT is leaving after SPv2, that it wouldn't be too overloading (not talking about tagspace) if I put in a CMT HUD. I won't go to Polar's HUD mainly because it's been used before and I'm trying to find something different and interesting for the mod that hasn't been seen much before.

Is this the HUD you were talking about(?):


Here is an update on the rapid-fire semi-automatic shotgun:

I'm upfor any suggestions. Obviously, somethings aren't right for the scale factor of the detail map, but that'll be changed later. I'd prefer a more golden/brown look to the shotgun though to make it unique, if anyone has suggestions for that.

C10 Update:
IT FINALLY RAN ALL OF THE WAY THROUGH WITH NO EXCEPTIONS. This means that c10 is nearly complete. All that needs finalizing are the tags (HUD, shotgun appearance, weapon tag editing) and the level is finished.

Overall Update:
- I need a sniper to use. This has been an issue for quite a while. I have a sniper lined up for texturing and UVWing, if anyone would be willing to do so.
- A30 is close as ever to completion. All that remains is some more scenery placement, the sniper dilemma, getting some anims to work properly, and it's practically finished if nothing else.
- A50 is practically finished as well, with some obvious edits needed and all of the details of a30 needing to be including.
- B30 is still a WIP. I'm debating between Sunny or Dusky skies (not heavily dark skies, but kind of a sherbet colored sky).
- B40 is getting closer to being finished as well, with the need of some scenery placement, AI establishment (some AVs aren't in the right places), and some pure finalization of the level.
- C20 is done as soon as the tags are done.
- C40 is always under wraps. Still working on making a certain area not so laggy, putting in finalizations, and possibly wanting to put in some Tank action.
- D20 is close to completion every time it compiles. Once all of my Ultras show up and compiles well, then it will be finished.
- D40 is done as soon as the tags are done.

There is you update for a while. Hope y'all enjoyed it. Please tell me if you have anymore suggestions.

The Shotgun is retaining its model because if I used an H2 one, then it would like spazzy.

I like sunny personally, mainly because Dusky has been done 3x before. I'll finalize skies after beta testing.

Dude, location makes no difference in sky really. Sun is sun and clouds are clouds. I'll figure it out in the end.

Your Enter is a 'stand opening' animation, the other is 'stand closing'. Import and look at the Scorpion's. Enter and exit is for the biped (eg, 'scorpion-driver enter.jmm')

I just played the successfully recent build of D20 (Keyes) and I have to say that it was some of the most balanced fun I've had for that level in a long time. There are some things that need changing, like some areas need FRG Ultras switched in and out with normal Ultras. I also got to get some more of the tags implemented into the level, like the Flamethrower and sniper flood. Next to this, I'm debating whether I should put in the energy sword Ultras or not, mainly due to balancing issues. If you have any suggestions on this part, please tell me ASAP.

What about a new texture? I never really did like the Halo 1 Flamethrower texture. Though I doubt anyone will retexture it, considering that you couldnt even get the sniper textured.


Also the AA Wraith is almost done, I just have to export the model, setup animations and other minor tags. Then its ready.
