Although you will need a bit of C++ skills, you can add some collision stuff so you don't fall off a vehicle while mobile, make dual wielding scripts, vehicle boarding scripts, etc etc.

A few maps might come with their own build of Yelo, which would need to be placed in CE's folder, but Korn's going to release a stable, official build soon.

Kornman said he is going to make a thing so people that don't know how to code can at least put some use towards Open Source.
Also, you need the .dll the person makes and the map in order to use its functions correctly. If not, it'll just exception.
Don't get your hopes up for something coming out soon, because it won't happen.

I thought multi-vehicles meant the 6 vehicle type limit had been removed. So, do you need to do somthing special to your map to use the multi-team vehicles code in the .dll? or do you just drop the .dll file into your folder and you'll be able to be driven by your oppenent in a warthog in all maps, even the default ones?

When you download a sauce map, in the folder, there will be the system sauce dll. You have to install it.

You dont install dll files, you just place them in the correct directory. The problem is that there will be different dlls for different maps you want to play that use open sauce, so you would have to replace the dll everytime u want to play that map.

Like they use Tool to modify Halo 3 maps, after they are pulled from the Xbox 360 Hard Drive. (Using an XSATA, and Xport.) It cannot be used to its full potential though. So it is basically pointless to use it for Halo 3.

No it will not Bungie uses a different tool to compile their Halo 3 stuff. And you have no knowledge in modding Halo 3 Maps as tool.exe has no use in User Modding. Modding Halo 3 maps take more than just extracting its contents from a 360 Hard Drive, it has to go through different steps, much more steps than Halo PC/CE modding. As it is more difficult.

Dude, read up, the XSATA is a way to put Xbox 360 files on your computer (make them viewable) and Xport allows you to view them on your computer, as well as move them from the 360 hard drive, to your computer. They use Tool to edit the map. it wont WORK in Halo Custom Edition, but it is used. (I have never modded before, but will be starting soon, so I read up on different ways of modding.) There is a lot to do. But it will keep me interested in Halo 3 for quite some time. A map from Halo 3, is still called ".map", I do not know details, but I know it works in tool.

So it won't work with just any map then (sadface) oh well, time to download open sauce and see if it is beyond by limited programing knowlage.
