(I'll try search as soon as I post this topic)
Right, so is there any Halo Audio Converter which convertes the songs from the game to MP3 file format?

Or you can use AudaCity to open up the sound tags.

Nope, there isn't. What I do is play it in guerrilla while recording. It is fairly frantic and easy to mess up doing, though. When you open it up in audacity I don't think it opens the whole song, as all the times I have tried it I only got part of the full song. Edited by gruntfromhalo on Dec 11, 2008 at 09:23 AM

You can open OGG-formatted sound tags, like Advancebo said. You just can't open up Xbox formatted sound tags in Audacity since it can't read that format. Also, you can only directly open the first permutation of any sound tag. Although, it's pretty easy to extract each sound permutation from a sound tag using a hex editor and save it as separate sound files.
