I know this is possible because I've seen it in the campaign maps.

*Long story short, how do I make fog below a certain level in some places, but not in others below that same level.*

I my map, I have one area with fog. There is a fog plane where the fog begins, and the fog tag is set so the fog becomes water at a certain depth under the fog plane.

In this case about .4 world units under the fog plane, it becomes water. (there is a fog plane above a water plane. The water plane is render only and displays water, but the splash that comes from shooting the water, from entering and exiting it, or from walking in it comes from the fog setting. Bubbles and other effects may also be linked to the fog.)

A little bit above the fog plane is an entrance to a tunnel. The tunnels continues strait a little ways, then goes down. I don't want any kind of fog inside the tunnel, and my fog plane does not go inside the tunnel, yet in sapien and in game, there is still atmospheric and water fog in the bottom of the tunnels.

In the map c10, 343 guilty spark, there is very similar fog in the swamp areas, yet eventually you go inside the forerunner structure and go down and elevator and there is no fog there (Same bsp), even though it's below the level of the fog plane elsewhere in the level. I would think that it works by having fog under the fog plane, but not anywhere else, but I guess not. In sapien in c10, there is a definitive point where the fog stops (somewhere under the level), but I'm almost sure it's not where the bsps fog plane ends.

I can tell because when the camera goes below the fogs water level, there is a splash noise played, and in most places it is played when the camera goes below a certain z value, but near the tunnel entrance, it doesn't. There is no fog. It ends. How do I make my fog do the same?

Also, when the player goes below the fog's water level in c10 and fires a pistol or assault rifle, bubbles come up from the weapons. How do I make mine do this? Is it scripting? It's not in the fog tag, because I copied mine fog from c10.

AND WHY DOES RAIN GO UP UNDERWATER?????!!!!
Nothing with "c10 treeline" apears.
And how do you make light go through glass for radiosity?!

Also, what's the latest version of HEK and can it extract all the campaign levels so they are openable in sapien? If not, how does one do this? All I can get is b30, c10 and c20. (Found latest HEK+ but still can't open most scenarios)Thanks to anyone who helps, or even responds!

Ummm, OK. How do I set them up?
I have exact portals over the tunnel entrances. They don't seem to effect fog.
