what is the name of the very first map for Halo Custom Edition? cant find it and so any help would be appreciated :)

ive seen it before but i cant quite remember the name. i think it had the word blood in the name, was it blod island? any way all i remember is it was lik two island or something with some banshees if i remember right. someone correct me if im wrong.

Blood Island, or was it that night map? I cant rember D: It was between those too im pretty sure.

Blood Islands was the very first submitted map to Halomaps, that does not mean it was the first ever created.

Oh wait it was "Tutorial".

Those arent the first maps made, those are the first maps on this site.

Really there is no way to know what the first map made was since before this site they were just thrown on filefront or something.

Correct. You would have to look at the actual *.map files's date stamp to see which were the actual first ones made. The dates listed on the website are the creation of the *.zip file so they are not the actual date of the map.

You can list the maps in date order (acending or decending) by clicking on the date link in the header of the map listing page.

Probaly tutorial.map since its a map GBX used to write the tutorial.

actually, the first custom map after tutorial was a variant of tutorial map but had an odd vehicle, which had a slow fuel rod with warthog's chaingun turret bitmap shot. it also had very wierd phystics of walking backwards or up side down and such.

Wait, wouldn't the first custom map actually be one of the new maps on the PC version? Like DangerCanyon, Timberland, etc.

no becuse there wasnt hek+ at that time so you couldnt make a vairiant of anything unless you had the scenrio.

oh, and tutorial isnt custom becuse its made by bungie. after tutorial, the tutorial with the odd vehicle was the first.

You don't use HEK+ to make maps :\. They used the unlocked versions of the tools, which they really should give us at this time...

you meant editing the maps on the pc version? that isnt custom maps, and they released way after halo custom edition came.
