not sure about the extra weapons but good suggestions.

i actually had in mind using the deku stick as a "flame thrower" (smaller scale; to light a fire)
and the ice arrows, i thought the same thing... the slingshot, good idea; fire arrows also.
din's fire good idea.
meggaton hammer and down= obviously.
Lens of Truth... if i can find someone that can pull that off.
and im not sure about the arrow gravity thing.. i personally like the aiming up to hit a target at a distance...

well arrows do have a tendancy to fly in an arc... (obviously not OoT with its simple gravity)

Meh, i think i know how Din's Fire could work, but the user would die too. Just make it like a grenade.

^ wouldn't have to. You could make a weapon that expells fire around the body. You just can't move or you'd be torched. like a link BBQ!

Meh, i think i know how Din's Fire could work, but the user would die too. Just make it like a grenade.
I'm almost positive you could make it a weapon with a projectile that looked like a large bubble canopy and then im pretty sure there is something you can do to make the user immune to the projectile.

Obviously that flag was never used ingame... (at least for you, don't know about enemies)

Set the damage amount way high (enough for instant death even with full overshield) and you'd probably be good to go.

ok here's my main issue. ima need someone to populate in sapien (place the tags on the map). i really find creating the BSP, the tags, and populating a bit stressing.

if no one wishes to volunteer, im still gonna work on the map, but at a much slower pace... simply because it's tough to do almost everything alone.

I would of helped if my pc could at least run halo. But it can't so..... yeah sorry about that.

I noticed this map is significantly lacking in custom vehicles.

I was thinking you could make some sort of a "goron mech" It would be just like the mechs in coldsnap except it's a goron, and the attack button makes it punch. If it's not to hard you could add a feature where if you press the boost button it causes you to roll (as gorons do) like the ghost's boost.

A map this big needs vehicles or most of the gameplay will be walking around. I'm sure you're familiar with coldsnap's slayer varient -_-...

the next video is the beta video, and will contain sound.
it'll probably be a youtube vid, and will be released somewhere around this coming weekend.
all i'm doing right now to prepare the beta is creating basic scenery, such as trees and rocks.
the tagset i will be showing will be the confirmed tagset... and maybe ill add a few more things.

this beta will be released, maybe on another site, and to the people that will record with me.

locations such as the fairy fountain and the secret room are to be added. all else seems to be final.

Vehicles shown will be zelda's horse and epona.

Hey Cellista, glad to hear an update from you. I'm also sorry that I didn't get a chance to be online on Xfire lately due to me having computer problems on how to downgrade Windows Vista back to XP again, so yeah, I'm a newbie at computers so it took me a while to figure it out. But as of now, I have Windows XP again, and putting my backup files into this XP. If you see me online on Xfire, you can message me about more information on what you've added so far on the map and the parts that needs to be added, because I believe that I found someone that can help us work on this map as he is working on the location Temple of Time. If you want to know who this person is, talk to me on Xfire about it and if I'm not online on Xfire, then you can send me a Private Message in here. I will also be glad to beta test the map, so hopefully we meet again on Xfire.

OH god are you really going to add a secret room???

look before you really do, can you atleast not make it give the other players an advantage?

dont worry, it wont contain a powerful weapon.. i hate that stuff.
ill probably do, like full metal says... and it'll probably contain something like the ocarina... just a harmless weapon that produces music.

and i havent been on xfire much either, link... trying to avoid the distractions. but ill try to get on

I have a few ideas...
First, have the sword where it cannot be exchanged for another weapon, except the other sword, and with the other sword vice-versa.
Second, have 2 other fully exchangeable weapons (nonexchangeable for swords) but have the as the equipment items from OoC, Bombs, Boomerang, Hammer.
Third, Instead of having the arrows set as different triggers, have there be different bows, already with different arrow types, like an Ice Bow, Fire Bow etc. and for each have its own option for a regular fire (Regular button press), or an option for the bows special ability (Ice bow = Ice arrows.) and have the bow have an individual "Magic meter" which use of the Bow's special ability lessens.
Fourth, Have the bombs as one of the "equipment items" FP animations would be like the bomb in Halo 3 (Lol.) and when you "Fire" the bomb, you raise it above you head, and 2 hand throw it.
Fifth, with this plan, there would be no use of grenades, so, have an animation where when you use a "grenade," you raise up your shield, and keep it raised for as long as you hold the grenade button. Then, there would be an actual use for the mirrors shields "deflection" ability. Also, to switch between mirror shield, and regular shield, switch grenades. But, you must find a grenade (Shield) on the map first to be able to use the shield.........

good news. the tagset is almost ready.

all i need now is to make the rocks destructible, to make it more like the zelda game.
and of course to make -finding the secret room- more entertaining.

but of course... i do not know how to do this.
i made an attempt...

i added "-" to the material...
i flagged "dies when object dies" i gave it 100 hp (for test; ill increase it when i get this going)
and i added the frag effect (also for test)

but all i get, when i deplete it's "health" is the effect. the object doesn't dissapear. can someone help?

Yeah, who cares if it doesn't sync? The only problem you'd really run into is if you were driving (And Link doesn't drive Warthogs, last time I checked) and you went into the spot where the rock was destroyed on the passenger's server or something.
I have an idea: Maybe you can put a bunch of large boulders on top of a ramp or sloped path and make them vehicles, so that you go up there and flip them and they come tumbling down onto people. :)
