Try re-saving it as a .string_list even if it's unicode_string_list. it will still ask to overwrite it, DO IT.
That should work. |

i find it easier to:
instead of exporting from the editor, save it as a Unicode .txt in the correct directory. then just recompile the string list |

Are you using the string list editor modified by E3pO? That one seems to give that error a lot. Try using the original one. I use it and it never gives me problems:
