I'd rather go without than take what you'd bring.

Well I have seen a water shader do this. I found it in the crappy bubble shield in the leaked map, asgard... it ALSO gave me an idea for bump-mapping stuff, but that's offtopic.

Maybe you should look at that shield and try to come up with something.

Ya, when bullets hit water (well, not MY water. Grrr), they make a splash. The shader under the water make a splash, but I swear some water does it by itself. You might be able to mess around with that. If not, scripting perhaps. Perhaps you could set up an unoticable tellaporter system where if you touch the wall, you get telleported to the other side but it's so small you don't notice. Or maby there's some syrface in the game that does it that no one thought of using.

Use a .garbage tag. No, I'm not pulling your leg. A garbage tag you can walk through and drive through, but bullets are stopped.

darn, advancebo beat me to it XD.

Ah, yes of course! Bodies are non collidable but you still shoo them and blood comes out! Now how to apply that mechanic to a shield door...

It's in the material type. Blood comes out because of particles when a bullet hits elite flesh or something like that. You could make it so that hunter blood comes spurting out of the shield door when it's hit if you wanted.

I think if you used a biped that doesn't collide with other bipeds, it'd stop projectiles, and you could walk thrue it. Vehicles would move it, though.

impossible
but u could have a garbage tag, and make it a water material, then change the vehicles effect on water to stop automatically

That works too. Take 343 for example. He had a flag ticked that allowed other bipeds to pass through. But bullets impacted.
