its pretty much just windows emulation on linux which is what does 2 programs do

Emulators are pretty much the same. They translate pc code to game system code
Wine tends to be buggy and doesn't work all the time. As for Linux, I personally only use it for cracking weps and downloading because it evolves memorizing commands

Bad idea. Drivers for video cards on Linux aren't as good as their Windows counterparts. Video performance isn't very great... Also WINE sucks...

Only in Ati Drivers. Nvidia's are great! + you can Fold in Linux @ 64 bits + GPU @ like 2x the speed of Windows...

Oh and Linux's support for graphics are actually extremely good. Who do you think made them? Nerds with free time duh! If it didn't work you could get one to spend hours fixing it for you! Anyways I actually found my Warcraft 3 to play at faster frame rates in WINE than in Windows. O.o

Didn't know about the Nvidia Linux drivers.
