Now. I'm not saying this is a definite yes. I'm simply posting an idea.

I had this idea a while ago. Of a Crysis Mapping Team. Obviously certain things wouldnt be possible such as multiple Maximums and weapon modification. But its mainly the idea of having the crysis graphics and looks. I've always wanted to play CTF in Crysis. So maybe this could get me closer to achieving it.

So mainly. My idea is that a bunch of people make a team and start making maps and things that have Crysis textures, models and other things such as instead of Q for flashlight it could be Maximum Speed or Cloak.

Instead of weapons modification we could have multiple versions of the weapon with diffrednt modifications on them (Such as FY17 and then a FY17 with Incendery Ammo and an Assault Scope). Of course it wouldnt be close to true Crysis. But a step closer to getting there...

So how about it? Could be developed? Or left to waste away in the dusty cupboard..

Crysis sucks. You need a brand spanking new, over clocked, Super cooled, computer to even run games that use cry-tech. Just use unreal engine. Me and nugget discussed this a while back.

Not True. Minimum requirements is an Nvidea 8800 and you can run on low settings..

I share my friends computer that I play Crysis on and he has an Nvidea 9600 GT Under-Clocked with no cooling except the Fan and heatsync. cost him £100 and he can run crysis at a neat 135 fps with Anti-aliasing x16. With an AMD Anthlon Dual Core

BS. Dude I have a 512 graphics card. And my brother has a 256 over clocked card. And playing full settings could result in frying his card. You would need liquid nitrogen to be able to play that game.

pffff, its not even that hard to run, i dont have any overclocking of sorts and i can run the game just fine on medium with about....50-60 fps and its not even the best (mind u its pretty good thou >.>)

Well you could make this idea work; provided you have the patience and find team members that can help and support you. Make sure you think this through very carefully before actually attempting this, because if you don't you could fail and thus waste time.

You could try modding with Crysis:warhead when it comes out. I think it'll do ok on older cards.

Wait, so, Crysis GRAPHICS in Halo? Or the opposite? Also, wait for Crysis: Warhead to start this, if you're using the CryEngine2. Warhead is MUCH better optimized, and better looking. They tested it all on a $500-$700 computer.

pfft Crysis, i already HAVE the models, do not look at me, i just rip for some unknown reason, it compells me to, but your not getting any ripped models or bitmaps, since Josh did teach me a lesson, just make custom content, the over all product is pride that you made it and people will enjoy it (if they like crysis that is)

Oh sure just credit josh.

Umm, also not true. I have an 8800 GT and can play it on maxed settings 1680x1050 resolution and still get 30-40 fps.

Not everyone has a brand spanking new computer. If you make something in the crysis engine then expect the rich spoiled type to be your audience.

My computer is from 2004 xD

I wish I could run Crysis, but it'd probobly melt my computer. Especially since it's a laptop.

If you want to make this, i'd not rip everything from it, and make lower poly things. Because I heard Crysis models are very high poly.

I dont know how you guys can think that Crysis requires NASA to run it..

Anyways. My idea would be quite simple. If you have Sandbox 2 you can get every texture in the game aswell as models (Although they probably would be far too pollie heavy for Halo to handle)

My friend has an Nvidea 7500 and can run crysis on lowest settings. No anti-aliasing, at around 25 - 45 FPS.

I have an Nvidea GeForce 5600 and cant run it atall :-/

My shared computer can indeed run it at 140 - 150 fps. Nvidea 9600 GT, Ant-aliasing x8. x16 lags slightly..

lol crysis does need I guess high settings but... you can make it look even better than very high settings and get a decent or even better fps using stuff like mster config or natural mod etc

take a pic of crysis with fraps ingame showing 140 fps and then take pics of the computer itself to see the card and stuff cus i konw u dont run it with 9600gt aa x8 or x16 even on low settings it wouldnt get that much frames post that on youtube under 'god made my computer'

Ill get a pic of Crysis running in Sandbox (High settings, Anti-aliasing x8 with fps showing) and Fraps if its still on that comp. And i can take pics of it. IDK when though. maybe the weekend. Cus I feel rather ill this week.
