guys chill out, Dhark is here to save the day (unless someone already has, but meh)

you're NOT USING IT RIGHT.

If you have just got the program, you need to do a quick, simple configuration, ill show u

[EFFECT]
EnableBloom=1
EnableOcclusion=0
EnableReflection=0
EnableMotionBlur=0
EnableWater=0
EnableShadow=0
DepthBias=0

open enbseries.ini
Find the [EFFECT] tab, if im right, most of these will be =1

NOTE: if you read the original description of ENBSeries, you will note that the maker of this version for halo has ONLY incorportated Bloom, the rest of the options (motion blur can sometimes be an exception) do NOTHING except eat your fps and whatnot, so make sure you turn them off because they do nothing for you. Once you have done that, you will notice a tremendous increase in FPS

bloom wasnt made for halo. it was originally made ofr GTA SA. so the hacked bloom for halo will drop ur fps horribly

No, bloom wasn't made specifically for GTA SA. It is a common rendering technique that has been around for a while now.

However sim, the ENBSeries program itself was made for GTA SA, thats what advancebo meant

I'm really going to end this to say that you don't need Bloom to make Halo CE look good. I'm going to look into effects and stuff in Halo CE once I have a break all of the ensuing chaos in my life. Bloom is pretty much the Juicy and Gloomy Filters from Halo3 mixed together. That's the effect they give.

no ENBSeries does not add AA lol, read my earlier post, the only function that was made to work with halo is Bloom, motion blur is rumoured to work but ive yet to see it working

Really? I tried bloom yesterday and got practically no frame rate loss with maximum settings, and I only have an NVIDIA Geforce 6800. It could be your RAM, considering I have 2 GB.

Bloom is an effect that can be simulated in photoshop. If you were to get a picture, duplicate the layer, Edit its levels, blur it, and set it as screen then you will see the difference.
Here is a good example.

As you can see the background light is overlaying the original object. So a bright light behind something will have an effect that light is in front of the object in a "fall off" manner.

I have 2 gb, and vista. About 1.4 GB of my RAM is available (says somewhere under dxdiag, or was it task manager...). Plus I have an intel core duo 2 e4500 @ 2.19Ghz.

Under DX10 it works, but I guess it could be causing the lag.
How do I force halo into DX9?

The d3d9.dll from halo bloom is not affected by ANY of the configuration settings. If i change everything to 0 it still works, and lags horribly!

Get DirectX 10, works a lot better.

I am on Dx10. It still didn't work. So I put under halo -dx9, and it still lags.

well wich ENBseries.ini file are you editing? because you are supposed to edit the ENBSeries.ini file in your halo CE root directory

When I download, I don't get a .ini. I get a color folder, quality, ENBseries, d3d9.dll,d3d9.dll original, licenses, and a readme. I put them all into C:\program files\microsoft games\halo custom edition. (NOT including the license, read me, and d3d9.dll original). When I change any of the "configuration settings" Folders, they ALL do nothing.
