Reminds me of halo wars, also you could add some missile silo's and other things to vary the height in me middle, and various things to add cover. looks really cool, just big, that probably wont, make for very good gameplay.

Dhark's making me a silo model( actually several small, tactical missile silos) and the HQ will will the remaining area. Now the pelican there takes 3500 polies and each tank takes 1600. Anyway, Crates and such will be required.. should they come from Sapien or 3ds..? 3ds would probably will be best but that's one hell of a task to make right from there. Also yeah, alot of people say it looks like Halowars but again I did not base myself from it... the buildings all share a similar design that I could best describe as this shape: \ _/ Edited by OpsY on Sep 1, 2008 at 09:12 PM

And thanks, Clad. But, from my standpoint, this has actually provided me a good experience to animating better. I say that because I started a new reload animation that doesn't throw the clip, and it seems SO much better than any of my old animations.

ICEE, i actually quite liked veex's animations, it doesn't have to be smooth like the typical animations right? I mean look at say...bioshock, the weapon animations, like veex's are very purposeful, even if robotic. It gives a more characterised (or strong) feel to it. IMO I like it, of course everyone is entitled to an opinion, this is just my own.

bioshocks are smooth. this is not. i get myself killed because i sit there and look at animations while fighting. "oh hey does the hammer actually go forward when you fire the revolver?" "shotgun + fast shooting powerup = not so good looking firing animation" "omfg the take out animation for the grenade launcher, the grenades jump in the side holder"

you have been playing bioshock lately huh? cause thats what your last 2 posts had in them XD.... i would want to play BioShock if i get the chance
but about the animations:
lol thats like the first time i played Halo 3... the physics were awesome (in my OPINION).... i would literally launch anything launch-able off of that launcher in vahalla
* 2 ppl standing in the middle of vahalla...
"..." *mongoose flies by* "HOLY... DID YOU SEE THAT?" "what?" *ghost flies by* "THAT" "oh..... WTF!?" *hog splatters one of the ppl* "oh ****..." *spike gernade lands near the other person* "you've gotta be kidding me...."
you get the point

well look, I didn't personally play bioshock, more often than not I was watching from my bros screen whos a lil bit across the room, so I could be wrong but I still like what I saw. Mind you more than anything I was referring to the shotgun (without speed upgrade but with a damage upgrade) and some animations concerning the lightning plasmid

A reload for the clip not being empty, and a reload for when the clip is empty. I don't know why you want multiple reloads, I don't think any games have that anyway.

I just thought it would be cool since when you actually reload a gun you don't do it the same all the time.

It's just how games work. Also it's implemented into Spartans' brains to reload the same each time, unless the clip is empty.

I'm sure there are plenty other games that have multiple animations.
