How about the hornet AND kestrel? lol I'll just expirement and determine whats best. Hippo might not be that bad...

And the halo 3 scarab is Lekgolo - controlled. It would have to be an AI, and those don't sync online.

One of my friends just told me about this, this is wicked sweet, just its not exaclty what I have planed for the future of the map. I came up with this last year and was about to ask if I could fix it up heres my suggestions

• Get rid of all teles except for any for runner things; Replace them with elevators and corridors.
• Have Human sniping area a couple of escape pod tubes, instead of the top of the ship. You can get to them by taking 1 of the 2 elevators from the corridor that leads to the auxiliary control room to the corridor that contains the tubes. Snipers will be in the armoury.

• Have 2 Launch bays instead of 1, each having 1 Longsword.
• Have an auxiliary control, which is closer to the hangers, instead of the bridge.
• Have the armoury a couple feet about 100 behind the hanger closest to the sniper tubes. Have a corridor bass by there on your way to the auxiliary control.




• Have a garage behind both hangers. Garages will have corridors (the ones you drive around in the level the maw) that meet up. In the middle of the corridor between the 2 garages will be a large elevator that will lower the vehicles to the very bottom of the ship where they will take another corridor to an airlock which has 3 blast doors (like the one Master Chief opens in Halo2 Cairo station). The 3 doors will have to be manually opened by controls. There will be a ladder running up the elevator shaft.
• EX of Elevator.


• There will be some Archer missile pods along the side of the ship they will act as human anti air, They can be used by entering (like entering a vehicle) in to a Console in the Auxiliary Control room. Haven’t decide if they will track or not.
• Across the Elevator is where the mythos is parked.
• See if we can get the code to have pelicans lift Hogs and tanks. If we get that code maybe have weapons drop canisters with different types of weapons, in the hanger to be picked up.
• Add Hornets if possible.
• Set vehicle speed for normal except LS, speed up the LS.
• Maybe instead of nukes carpet bombing for LS
• Have scorpion tanks in the hangers
• Also have the Human fighters have their own room that will have those tubes from coldsnap, but instead of invisible tele have then lead right outside
• Make the scarab easier to kill



• For the covenant get rid of that assault carrier and replace it with a CCS class battlecruiser.
• Have the 4 hangers instead of everything lying around under the ship.
• Move 1 one the big anti-air turrets to the other canyon entrance, make it so its plasma things can’t track for long, and can’t do U-turns.
• Put the proper bottom piece on the gravlift.
• Make the gravlift be able to go up and down if possible.
• Get rid of the phantoms and put in Spirit Dropship.
• Have the Spirit Dropship able to pick up ghosts
• Replace the fuel rod and brute ghosts with H2 ghosts.
• Put in AA wraiths and normal H3 wraiths
• Put banshees in the Hangers
• Connect the hangers with corridors, have the corridors also lead off to the bridge, armoury, and gravlift room.
• Give seraph Fighter its own type on Hanger. 1 hanger, 4 Seraphs
• Fix up the Seraphs weapons to only the plasma canons, and make them look like the ones on H3 (Watch the H3 opening cutsceane for the level the ark to get it)
• Have an elevator by the forerunner structure that’s in the canyon, go down about 10 feet and have that short corridor that has the hole in the middle lead to 2 teles that lead to those 2 sniping spots that usually housed covie snipers.
• FIX THE DAMN BRIDGE
• put the human flag in auxiliary control
• put the covie flag in the bridge
• Have little control panels by the big blast doors for the main corridors (not the airlocks) that lead thought the ship. (have them act like the one on the map target practice, just also use the control to close it. Also have it that if it’s closed it can be open for 2 mins.

if there was a halo 3 scarab model and u were good at editing models and there was room for a control room u could put one in to make it player controlable or use the blue screen at the back of the scarab.

does the scarab crouch if u press crouch or is it just when u get off? also from the vid it still looks a bit hard to get onto so r u going to add a ramp like i surgested or is that the final animations? great job it looks really good, nice to know u listend to my idea.

i prefer assault carrier and thats not an assault carrier its a flagship (the front section has been squashed to the main hull) could u fix the glichy textures at the back of the ship where its got shiny star like things not covi metal.

Spartan463, those are some awesome ideas.


Bobbysoon has given me a test map with a working grav lift, and I hope to implement it into extinction soon. (He also gave me script :P)

I will try to get a covenant hangar. That would be really great.

And the kestrel makes a lot of noise? I'll check it out.

Oh yeah the scarab shots don't track anymore.

One of my ideas that I wanted the most is to get rid of the top as sniping and put in those life boat tubes and snipe out of those

Im backing Egg in this. You dont know whats possible and whats not. So dont think that because he is modding a map that sucks means that his mod will suck. Have you seen what he has done already? It's a major improvement. So saying its impossible is downright BS

Now, I have added kestrels in the place of the jets near where the mythos used to be. I like how they look, and i am about to test them.
