please do not use the frigate from any of the rpg maps.. they look good and all but they have a boatload of model holes that are too numerous and annoying to try to fix

What's your thoughts on this, Egg, of the Frigate, and the project, given the feedback from Modacity? Danorue and the rest seem predisposed to despising any map having anything to do with several maps, including Extinction. Perhaps we could achieve the same goal in another scenario? Well, I think that it should have more than one narrow canyon area. Leading from ship to ship. Maybe some tunnels that stretch in midair across the chasm, would be a nice effect.
You see, we need to turn the open, flat plain into a canyon array that can support small vehicles and give them cover from aerial fire. Not a maze, though.
Around the bases it should be mainly flat areas, giving large land vehicles like the scarab some moving space.
We will afterward discuss size of the map. We need to make it small but keep it huge... :P

Well, the truth and reconciliation crash site?
How about the canyons from a50, on a larger scale? And more vehicle friendly?
Tunnels meaning like, there is a canyon, heads towards the chasm. It leads underground and through the rock face of the cliff, and into the one opposite of it on the other side of the chasm.
See what I mean?

Ok, this is what happened. Mckay Threw a grenade for jenkins as he knew what would happen if the flood got to earth, as he was still partially in control, the grenade made it so the ship lost all power and control, crashing it into what was under it. It Is Like A Crash site, enough of that.

If you use a frigate then can it have the Lauch bay for the aircrafts where it should be along the middle side of the ship, and have the vechiles come out of the hanger bay at the bottom of the ship (the one you fly your hog into on the last level of H3) and can you make the covie ship a bit bigger then the firgate it you use it Edited by spartan463 on Nov 5, 2008 at 09:20 PM

The map will focus more on light vehicle and infantry combat while retaining the huge feeling that extinction had.
There will still be Longswords, etc., but there will not be as heavy a weighting.
