Check "Initially turned Off" or "Does not Operate Automatically".

is there a way to make the doors open 1 way only, or open for say 1 team?

i heard the word "team", if this is a multiplayer map, devices/doors/animated scenery dont sync very well in multiplayer

He's talking about single player. As in flood/human/covannant.

I'm pretty sure you can, in campaign Flood can't go through doors.

Only the infection forms cannot go through doors because that biped tag has a flagged checked to make sure it can't go through doors. But anyways, i think there is a flag in sapien to set for a door to only open from one side, you'll just have to check which side by placing a biped.
