I'm curious - what animations are you using on the Brutes?

(I ask because after revamping the CMT Elites I'm also giving the Brutes an overhaul, and if people are going to be putting my animations to work like that I'd gladly give them some extra stuff).

good job on that, im working on the bodyguard, i was able to extract the broken mesh so now i got the armor peices, but they are all jumbled up so i have to place the peices, and its kinda inaccurate, i used by bodyguard action figure as a reference:

Your model pieces for some parts are off, not aligned, and missing a few, and dont go off a action figure lol.

Your effort is spent in ripping, rather than spending it to learning to model, animate, or texture.

You can't say you help the community by ripping, which encourages them to waste their time ripping - because eventually, what are you going to trip? More games which I could just buy? lulz, dumb kid is dumb.

Well maybe if people would model weapons and uh, learn to freakin' skin (PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD THIS COMMUNITY HAS NO SKINNERS), there wouldn't be as much ripping since content is already lying around ready for use.

But because NO ONE models or skins, there is nothing to play around with and so all people have to do is rip and use assets from the other Halo games.

Spartan just says excuses as to why he won't model or texture. It's always "NO ONE CARES! THEY ARE JUST PIXELS ON A SCREEN!" or he tries to hard to be funny by posting image macros, emotes, or some other generic thing.

I've actually tried to model the ODST armor from Halo 3: ODST, but I know they aren't worth using, let alone accurate.


I tried to model Buck's Combat Knife and equipment after using a 5-inch action figure (which I know not to do now), and The Rookie's backpack. There's no good shot of the backpack, so that was my only other option. However, I suck at skins, and textures, and all that stuff. :\


This is just basically Dutch and Romeo. I modeled Romeo's helmet attachment (the scope-thing), and his shoulder guard. And the canisters. Then there's the boxes on their legs. Those are supposed to be those pouch things they have on their armor. (I modeled these in a low quality mainly because I wanted them to run well in Halo. I'm also not too good with modeling, but I try.)
Also, I used Spartan-094's ODST model for reference.
Terrible renders are terrible.

comparing the elites,V1 was done by me and shadowslayer,while V2 was done mostly by me but shadowslayer still helped.

I acutely didn't notice all the hate posts until after Dennis deleted the messages before hand.

Cry me a river. This has been a dominate ripping and porting community. Unless you manage to get all the big time people from CS:S and gmod hardly anybody will be doing any custom stuff.

So I will ignore you, and will ignore you if you decide to troll any harder on me.

Fact is I'm helping more then you are instead of ranting.

I'm not a huge fan of ripping, but that's a pretty decent Chief there. One thing I'd suggest, if at all possible, is make the armor not so...shiny. It should look more plastic-like, and not so metallic.

Eh one thing I do not want to do is make the chief so plastic, and not so shiney/metallic.

here's my opinion:

ripping from protected maps - BAD

ripping from protected maps and giving credit - ehhh better I guess

ripping from halo 2, halo 3, Modern Warefare 2, etc. - WHY THE F*** ARE YOU FLAMING THIS GUY?He's doing something like half the community has wanted for a long time, converting the actual Halo3 tags to halo ce!

take it u can't help the lighting on the visor? i notice that a lot, when ur in a pitchblack room and u have this gold orb bobbin around

(btw the angle of this picture makes it look slightly wrong....)
