It looks decent, but cant tell much since its incomplete.
Hunter is a decent modeler, but there are so much better people such as penguin, snafubar, flyinrooster etc.

Model is OK. Nothing really special, just a lot more detail that can easily be added into the skin. Learn polygon saving for games that don't support that much detail... like Halo.

Learn polygon saving for games that don't support that much detail... like Halo. quoted for semi truth model is not bad. we have all seen a hell of alot worse he is completely right about "polygon" (i would prefer the term triangle) conservation. hunter you seem to model ridiculously high triangle models. your sniper rifle for example. beautiful looking, fricking 23,000 triangles. you need to examine the model, position it in an fp-like position, and add the most detail to visible areas, or areas you will see the most. the default assault rifle for example. on the left side of the weapon, the side you see in fp, there is that green bolt. everybody noticed that, right? on the right side, there is no geometry for it. its just textured on. nobody noticed that, right? by NO means am i saying to model like that, its just an example.

Looks good, better what about the other side? This is why I try to avoid getting too much detail on one side and just go for the textures that sort of fill in those gaps. But, I digress, looks great. I would use a cylindrical shape to finish the inside of the splazer.

It may be just the fact that I rarely visit modacity, and Hunter seems to model objects with great detail that other members here skip over.

lol. I am going to model a basic shape for a splazer tomorrow and make it the gbx of a placeholder splazer that is shaped like a fuel rod I found somewhere. Don't ask where, I have no idea really.

yea its great. now model a brute shot. lol u no for halo trial's cryophobia mod the brute shot is really good. sounds r perfect but they use the flamethrower animations so is not that good. but hey at least it sounds and looks better than the ones u see in headlong and other maps. besides z_teams brute shot lol i think they got the best H2 maps. i think that if cmt and z team combine then they could make perfect H2 maps

Amazing. Just like Bungies, except you modeled all the bump mapping.

Triangle count is whats important. polygon count only gives us a rough estimate, and looking the wireframe render you have some very large polygons which means there are probably a lot more tris.
