Meanwhile, I have been playing The Legend of Zelda: Phantom Hourglass (Very addicting, isn't it?). How about making a map that features all 4 seas of the sea chart put together? The islands can be toned down of course, but I personally think that a multi-player game where 16 players load up into boats and start blasting away at each other with cannons all around the Great Sea would be pretty fun. And we also need a cell shaded link.

EDIT: Whoah, what luck! I counted all of the islands on the sea chart, and there are 16 in all! Perfect! If you don't know what the great sea looks like, look at this picture I found from GameFaqs. Ignore everything else but the sea.



It was the only picture I found, so don't say "Ur picture sucks! It has treasure markings on it, and we don't want them!"

First of all, there are no working boat tags. second of all a map that large would lag. also there are not enough refs. a top view low resolution ds screen is not going to cut it. it would be difficult to put the islands in scale, and range

And that is why we go to Plan B!

Plan B: Lower the map down in size. Boat tags could work as this- You make it a ghost (How they float and everything) and they float above water to look like they are floating IN the water. Also, with your islands statement, we only model what you see in the boat. It's hard to explain, but maybe this picture will help.



See how it doesn't show the whole islands, just a couple of mountains and a port?

Why not try the Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker? Think about it: using outset island or forsaken fortress as battlegrounds or using the King of Red Lions as a vehicle? Sounds like a good idea right? (P.S. yes Phantom Hourglass is very addicting)

Well, the idea was to make the sea and scale it down greatly, but I came up with this idea while I was playing the game, and I loved it very much. Now that I have beaten the whole game and stopped playing it for a while, I am not so fond of this idea. Someone else may feel free to making this map, but it MUST be scaled down, or massive lag will occur!

Who said anything about ripping?

Ah, but opinions on forums are double-edged; it works both ways. If anything, I believe we abuse the "it is my opinion" deal because even when I try to express my opinion, I immediately get an implied message saying STFU. I find more irony in every post I see from some of these people on these forums. And not to be offensive, CMT really has badissues with this, both from fans and the actual team. (Random question: Who founded CMT?)

People get mad at your posts because of your lack of thinking before you post. Every person as a right and should voice their opinion, but that doesn't mean people should pretend to like it. We (CMT) have tempers because we have to deal with people like you on a daily basis, bothering us on messenger, xbl, youtube, email and even our facebooks/myspaces, so yes, we are more "immature" when dealing with idiots than we should. I started this? You made a topic, asking for an opinion. My opinion is that you should do something that you'll actually complete, rather than start another map team which is another conversion of another game. Which will just end up falling apart and being cancelled.

If people in the community (including modacity) weren't so stupid, and learned from others mistakes, I wouldn't have had to post to show the most obvious thing, which is trying a failed formula over again will not wield differnent results.
