no. instead of choosing which order to complete the objectives in, you can take many different paths that lead to the same place. go one way, or if you want to go back and choose a different way. im hoping this can boost the replay value so people will want to play it again and again to see how many different ways they can come at a situation edit and yes thats a very nice g36c but unfortunately not only is my pic old, but im not a professional moddler nor a pro skinner... is shouldnt be hard to script, im actually ok at that. its size im worried about, because its like putting a few different maps all in one i guess well just have to wait and see tho
im also considering making like a strategy video, where i play thru it and show u how to get thru, cus i got alot of complaints last time about "ahh the last boss is too hard" or "i got lost in a big circular arena where you can only go one way in the first place..." whenever i play it its really not that bad...

Hey guys sorry diffrent account, but yes this is da pimp pope. The layout of what you have sonic is diffrent from mine and i said i would be on monday, not sunday =/, but w/e. I also practiced modeling cliffs, and i can tell you there just like halo 3 cliffs, all bumpy and diffrent shapes with rocks sticking out.

Map Soundtrack
in the last map i used the bioshock soundtrack, which seemed to work very well with the environment and it helped set the mood. i have had a hard time comparing other compilations of music to that one, but i think ive got a pretty good sounding list together.
The soundtrack will be released (either here or on another site) in .sound tag form once the map is complete.
It will include the following artists:
Muse Stockholm Syndrome Hysteria (more to come)
Metallica For Whom the Bell Tolls Wherever I May Roam (more to come)
All of these songs add a very heavy, dark feeling to the map. And of course there will be the eerie music and other stuff to raise suspense etc. but for now consider this list the primary sound track. Edited by AHS_SONIC on Sep 2, 2008 at 12:55 AM

youve got a good point, but ive already taken care of that. xbox codec does take quite alot of space, and when you makepermutations inside the file then it gets even bigger. but when you use the ogg/wav codec to compile sounds then the tag size is ridiculously reduced, and you can compile a very long sound tag without splitting into permutations which is ideal for songs and music.
the soundtrack is like almost number 1 priority tho, and it wud be extremely noobish to use the original halo music on a map as custom as this. Edited by AHS_SONIC on Sep 4, 2008 at 01:03 AM
