sorry for the early april fools post but coluseumm III has been started.

At this point, if someone would like to help with a BSP that would be fantastic. talk to me on xfire (hmcdustin) and ill tell you what i need.

I figured out how to do fp animations in a cutscene, which i think is goona look really cool when we have a first person cutscene and theres things flying out at you.

To prevent loss of good content in this map, it will most likely go over 120 mb, so it could possibly be split into two parts so EVERYTHING gets in this time. There are alot of things i figured out how to do AFTER coluseum II was released, so this map will contain alot o fjuicy action and other great things people have only seen in the campaign maps before.

Im going to try to keep this as much of a solo project as possible for now, but if you have any suggestions or things you want to see in the map, post them here!

Please do a totally new BSP meaning scrap the bsp used in coleseum II. Also please use a different name unless you are having it take off from what happened in II

thats actually the generall idea
i dunno about losing the name tho, although i suppose if it has nothing to do with a coliseum then i probably shudnt name it that lol

Added a really nice black titanium filler texture i found on google, using plasma rifles reflection map.

Keep on track, i am glad to see this happening. I have been wanting a SP level that looks nice for awhile. No offense Sonic but Coluseum II was decent but it wasn't nice to look at.

sympathy is a map gotcha i really like that pillar u made throw a ladder on there and we have a really nice sniper tower im kind of idle right now cus i dont have a bsp to work with and cls grunt cant seem to find time to pimp my guns but i do have a drone that follows u around like the bots in bioshock (cant give a screenie im on my psp) but that should be fun to play with

i think it should be a bigmap where vehicles can be driven like maybe a halo 3 mongoose would be nice or halo 3 weapons

but 1 thing wont it lag because of the amount of dead bodies???

if ur trying to defend ur self against 4 wraiths, 5 banshees and like other 4 ghosts.....using a halo2 magnum........it wont be many bodys and it will take u a while..

thats not very trustworty coming out of your mouth......... :P (joking)
like make it less long like 5 min and that the covenant basicly over run the whole structure so a lot of marines die and that you have limited ammo to use

Reminds me of a Russian mission in Call of Duty 1. You have a bunch of guys with sucky AI camping the ramps from rapidly incoming Germans, while you run between two anti-tank grenade launchers. Oh, and then all your guys die and you're screwed, or you get hit by some artillery....

You haven't play the first one have you now? You snipe from far away at the building, then you move in, take out everyone in the building, then capture it. Defend it until reinforcements arrive.

Oh that one. Your Tanya right? I liked that mission. To bad that Russian guy was stupid and ran out the door with Machine guns raining lead down infront of it...
