I'm guessing file>export as a .3ds, import in gmax.

I dont have sketchup, but in sketch up figure out how to export the model, and export it as a .3ds file format. In GMAX, go to file> import, find your exported model.

When I clicked export only .kmz was there. Thank you for the advice martynball but I have no idea how to model in Gmax so this seem better to me.
